Journalists in the UAE have been urged to keep pace with the developments in the global media to keep attracting audiences.

The advise was given in a recent Majlis in which Sharjah Radio director Mohammad Khalaf hosted the former Syrian Minister of Culture Riyad Nsan Agha and Arabic media personality Hamdi Kandeel to discuss the trends of Arab media.

He said it was important for everyone working in the media to keep up with innovations.

They were speaking at Sharjah's second annual Ramadan Majlis organised by the Sharjah Media Centre and held in the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilisation on Sunday night.
