Kazakhstan's new state symbols were approved on June 4, 1992 for the first time after its independence December 16, 1991.
The State symbols are one of the immutable foundations of the government and represented on the Kazakh flag. A bright blue flag with a golden sun and a soaring silhouette of an eagle and coat of arms in the center, which is the image shanyrak (round grating in the dome tent) as a symbol of a common home for all Kazakhs, showed to the world the image of a new independent state called the Republic of Kazakhstan.
