Kazakhstan celebrates Day of State Symbols.

ASTANA (CyHAN)- June 4th has been celebrated as the Day of state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2007 in accordance with the decree of the Kazakh president. Today celebrations, mass festive will be held all over the country.

Kazakhstan's new state symbols were approved on June 4, 1992 for the first time after its independence December 16, 1991.

The State symbols are one of the immutable foundations of the government and represented on the Kazakh flag. A bright blue flag with a golden sun and a soaring silhouette of an eagle and coat of arms in the center, which is the image shanyrak (round grating in the dome tent) as a symbol of a common home for all Kazakhs, showed to the world the image of a new independent state called the Republic of Kazakhstan.
