Kazakhstan : The Government of Kazakhstan has adopted a draft national report on anti-corruption.
At the Government session, chaired by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev, a draft national report on anti-corruption has been adopted. The project was presented by Sayan Akhmetzhanov, Chief of Staff of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to Sayen Akhmetzhanov, the draft national report consists of five chapters and contains information on anti-corruption activities in the country, analysis of issues, and proposals for further improvement of the country's anticorruption policy.
In particular, the first chapter summarizes the implementation of the first stage of the Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2015-2025 and outlines the main directions of the national anti-corruption strategy.
The second chapter analyzes the state of affairs and trends in corruption in Kazakhstan based on official legal statistics, social assessments of corruption perceptions, and research results from international organizations.
"This year, Kazakhstan has scored 31 points in the rating of the countries according to the corruption perception index and has occupied 122nd place, improving the index by 2 points and 9th place. The third chapter outlines the measures taken to address corruption risks as well as their socio-economic impact.

The last chapter is devoted to the further development of anti-corruption policies and legislation, including the introduction of international anti-corruption standards, project management in anticorruption activities and the Plan of Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy 2018-2020.
