Kawai concert performer series digital pianos.

Kawai America has released the latest Concert Performer (CP) Series digital pianos. The new CPI, CP2 and CP3 models follow a long line of Concert Performer instruments, but come with new features.

The CPI is a 5'3" digital grand piano with a 200-Watt/9-speaker sound system. The design of this system includes speakers mounted onto a soundboard, plus a separate bass enclosure for bass response. The CP2 features an upright piano style cabinet with a 100-Watt/4-speaker sound system, while the CP3 comes in a tradition digital piano cabinet with a 100-Watt/2-speaker system.

Concert Performers come with hundreds of studio quality sounds, 16-track recording capability, USB functionality, digital audio play/record and iPad compatibility. The top two models add a wooden-key action, microphone input, vocal harmony and effects, and XLR audio outputs for connection to external sound systems and recording consoles.

CP instruments offer hundreds of accompaniment styles. Kawai's exclusive Concert Magic lets everyone experience the thrill of playing real music, even if you've never played before.

And for students, all CP models boast built-in lesson songs from Alfred, Czerny and more, plus time-honored finger exercises such as scales, arpeggios and Hanon.
