Kathryn A. Korte.

Stuart N. Siegel, president and managing director of Sotheby's International Realty, announced the appointment of Kathryn A. Korte (photo), as vice president / Manhattan Brokerage Manager.

Korte, 30, joined Sotheby's International Realty in 1984 as assistant manager of the Manhattan Brokerage. In 1988, she was promoted to assistant vice president of Administration where her responsibilities included managing Sotheby's four direct brokerages in an administrative capacity, and tracking the referral activity within the company's affiliate brokerage network. Korte, who received her undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College, currently resides in New York City.

In addition to the Manhattan Brokerage, Sotheby's International Realty maintains brokerage offices in Palm Beach, Southampton and East Hampton. Regional offices which coordinate the activity of an extensive worldwide affiliate network - currently numbering over 130 independent brokerages - are located in New York, Boston, Palm Beach, London, County Down, Ireland and Madrid, Spain.
