Kate Middleton and Prince William Buy [pounds sterling]1,450 Silver Cross Balmoral Pram for Prince George.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have reportedly purchased a luxury baby transport for Prince George.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three-month-old son will commute in the [pounds sterling]1,450 Silver Cross Balmoral pram.

"They received it in August and they have been using it," an insider told Us Weekly.

"This stunning pram is the perfect example of stately elegance and noble good looks, teamed with masterful engineering," the product description for the pram, on department store (http://www.johnlewis.com/silver-cross-balmoral-pram-pink/p231877188) John Lewis's website reads , "The steel bodied pram rides upon a C-spring chassis which is cushioned with leather suspension straps and chrome spoked wheels, ensuring the pram glides along the ground seamlessly. Silver Cross, founded in 1877, is known as the Rolls-Royce of pram manufacturers. Indeed, the company claims to have invented the modern pram. The most exclusive pram currently offered on its (http://www.silvercrossbaby.com/) website is an 800 limited edition item styled in conjunction with luxury car maker Aston Martin.

Despite George's opulent conveyance, the new parents chose to carry their child at his christening ceremony, held at the Chapel Royal in St James's Palace on 23 October.
