Karting teams leave for Thailand.
Both teams will compete against some international heavyweights in the race.
The race is attracting an impressive line-up of experienced teams including Nivea Dubai, DST Banzai of UK, Coast Oganisation and Universal drivers of France, Team China, Fuurai Ryodan JP of Japan, Benfica of Portugal, All Stars and B-Quik of Thailand and Speedzone of the Philippines.
After dominating last year's Batelco Bahrain 24-Hours Karting Race by scooping the top two places, winning the fastest lap accolade and best-placed Bahraini team award, Batelco are favourites to take a podium finish.
Batelco will be represented by captain Ali Al Qumaish, Mohammed Al A'ali, Mohammed Mattar, Ahmed Al Kamda, Christophe Hissette and Alban Varrutti.
Al Manaseer team, who will be making debut in an international competition, include six drivers and three technicians - Sayed Mustafa, Yasser Khalil, Mohammed Ghuloom - besides delegation head Mohammed Al Manaseer.
The team is captained by Ahmed Al Kooheji and include Mohammed Al Hael, Rashid Al Sahaf, Ali Dadi, Ali Attiya and 15-year-old rising driver Azra Salman.
