Karen's Sharp but never flat.

AWARD-winning tenor saxophonist Karen Sharp takes to the bandstand in a Wrexham jazz concert this month.

Twice-winner of the tenor saxophone category in the British jazz awards, Karen will be joined on stage at Llay Royal British Legion Club by Paul Kilvington (keyboards), Bill Coleman (double bass) and Luke Flowers (drums).

Karen has played in Humphrey Lyttelton's band and with Stacey Kent, Acker Bilk and blues singer Elkie Brooks. Karen will be showcasing her talent to North Wales after touring with fellow saxophonist Robert Fowler, and recording with singer Jaqui Dankworth.
