Kalbani meets UNDP official.

Muscat: Sheikh Mohammed bin Sa'ayed Al Kalbani, social development minister, received Dr Elissar Sarrouh, representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in Abu Dhabi yesterday.

During the meeting, they discussed the missions and services rendered to all categories sponsored by the ministry. The UNDP representative gave a briefing on UNDP plans and programmes.

The two sides also reviewed a number of topics of common concern and other aspects that would contribute in enhancing fields of social cooperation between the Sultanate and UNDP.

Earlier in the day, Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Shihi, regional municipalities and water resources minister, also received Elissar Sarrouh. During the meeting, a number of topics of common concern and means of enhancing cooperation were discussed.
