KYW NEWSRADIO SIGNS EXPRESS TRAFFIC NETWORK
 PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- KYW Newsradio (KYW-AM 1060),

Philadelphia's all-news radio station, has chosen Express Traffic Network as its sole supplier of traffic data and on-air reports for a three-year period beginning Feb. 1, 1992.
Express Traffic will be collecting traffic data utilizing the latest electronic technology and its recently established suburban bureaus to complement its traditional uses of aircraft and mobile units. Express Traffic's new technology will include a network of video cameras, or "TrafficCams"(SM), strategically located at critical sites throughout the Delaware Valley.

KYW Radio Vice President and General Manager Roy Shapiro said he is looking forward to the enhanced traffic reporting resources and resulting expansion of information that he can provide to listeners. "We at KYW are committed to offering the most accurate and complete traffic data to our listeners and have selected Express Traffic Network because of its similar commitment. We are excited about having KYW and the people of Philadelphia at the forefront of innovative traffic information technologies."
In addition to the Philadelphia market, Express Traffic Network has affiliates in New York, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles.
