KRUG INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

 DAYTON, Ohio, July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- KRUG International (NASDAQ-NMS: KRUG) announced that at its annual meeting of shareholders held today its shareholders voted to elect three new directors to the board. The new directors are Rex M. Fleet, T. Wayne Holt and W. E. Greenhalgh. In addition, shareholders re-elected Marvin E. Bruce and James J. Mulligan.
 The three newly elected directors have extensive knowledge of the corporation's operations. Fleet was a director of KRUG International (UK) Ltd. from 1987 to 1992. Greenhalgh has been associated with KRUG International (UK) Ltd. since 1960, is currently one of its directors and is chairman of its subsidiaries -- Beldray Limited and Sowester Limited. Holt has held various executive positions with the corporation including heading up its Life Sciences and Engineering operations.
 Bruce has been a director of KRUG International since 1974 and is currently chairman and chief executive officer of TBC Corporation. Mulligan has been a director since 1966 and is a member of the law firm of Mulligan & Mulligan which serves as counsel to the corporation.
 Commenting on the board elections, Maurice F. Krug, chairman and chief executive officer, said, "Our three newly elected directors have long-standing ties to the corporation. They are experts in our various business segments and well prepared to provide the counsel we will need to flourish in the future."
 For more than 30 years, Life Sciences and Engineering has been providing technical and professional services to NASA and the Department of Defense in life sciences research, laboratory operations, and biotechnology development. Included in Life Sciences and Engineering is Alpha Net, a network communications company that designs, installs and maintains local and wide area networks for data, voice and video communications with emphasis on fiber optics.
 In the U.K., KRUG International manufactures housewares and garden products and distributes leisure marine equipment.
 KRUG International common shares are traded on the NASDAQ National Market System, symbol KRUG; Wall Street Journal OTC National Market issue, symbol KRUG.
