KROY FORMS ALLIANCE WITH MATERIALS SCIENCE COMPANY
 TO ENTER SHRINK TUBING MARKET
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Kroy, Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialty label printers, has formed an alliance with Raychem, a major materials science company, to make its entrance into the shrink tubing market.
Raychem (Menlo Park, Calif.) is the manufacturer of the shrink tubing supply used in Kroy's new TubeMarker 600(TM), a portable thermal print marker that produces wire marking labels on demand, in any length.
"The Kroy TubeMarker 600 is our first entry into the shrink tube market, and we are excited about the opportunity to work with a company with the outstanding industry reputation of Raychem," said Bill O'Donnell, Kroy vice president of marketing and business development.
Kroy has also added a new channel of distribution through electrical/electronics manufacturer's representatives, as well as special rep groups in the areas of mass transit, rail and aviation. Traditionally an office products and signage company, bringing these new reps on board is part of Kroy's strategy to leverage its products and markets by broadening its channels of distribution.
The TubeMarker 600 is ideal for electronics maintenance and repair departments in the avionics, marine, rail and mass transit industries. Maintenance, service and repair departments in these industries need the ability to label wires on site. The portable TubeMarker creates clear, crisp, durable markers every time, making it easy to custom mark wiring on site, instantly.
Kroy, Inc., headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., is known worldwide for its innovative printers. Kroy designs, manufactures and markets a high-quality line of communications products including labeling, lettering, specialty products, supplies, bar coding and signage.
