KP panel directs evolving policy on accidental deaths.

PESHAWAR -- A meeting of the Standing Committee of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Relief, settlement and rehabilitation was held here in Assembly Secretariat Wednesday with MPA Iftikhar Ali Mashwani in the chair.

During the meeting the chairman expressed anguish over the noncompletion of the tubewells approved in district Buner and summoned the officers of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department in next meeting of the committee.

Besides, accidental deaths in flood and earthquake, the chairman also directed evolving policy for immediate payment of compensation to casualties in cylinder blast, electrocution and other circumstances.

On the reiterated demands of the members of committee, the chairman directed the department for presentation of briefing to the committee.
