KP IGP warns against unfair use of police force, corruption.

PESHAWAR -- Newly appointed Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Mohammad Naeem Khan Wednesday warned of strict action against unfair use of police force and corruption.

Presiding over first high level meeting of regional and district police officers here after assuming his charge as provincial police chief, he advised police officers to personally meet with general public and resolve their issues at local level and utilize all available resources for redressal of public complaints against police stations and check posts.

He emphasized up officers to maintain cordial professional relations with district administrations and judiciary to provide peaceful environment to masses, adding that the main objective of police force was to ensure protection of lives and properties of masses.

He directed all officers to respond to every alert call very seriously and timely to curb crimes.
