KORN/FERRY INTERNATIONAL BECOMES FIRST EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM
 TO INSTALL VIDEO INTERVIEW NETWORK
NEW YORK, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- To keep pace with today's rapidly changing business environment, Korn/Ferry International, the world's leading executive search firm announced today that it has signed an agreement to install a video conferencing network to communicate with clients and candidates. Korn/Ferry, the first executive search firm to install such a system, will initially connect its offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Plans are to add other key markets including London and Tokyo in the near future.
The Korn/Ferry video network, utilizing the Compression Labs Gallery 225 video system, features state-of-the-art, all-color with real-time audio/video.
"The new Korn/Ferry Videonet will provide a higher level of service to our clients," and Richard M. Ferry, chairman and chief executive officer. Having a dedicated video conferencing system on site will give Korn/Ferry a singular advantage over other search firms. It will enable Korn/Ferry to do its work faster and at a lower cost than its competitors. It will assist consultants in the initial screening process which frequently involves interviewing dozens of potential candidates in locations throughout the U.S. and internationally. Initial testing of the system proved that video interviewing is effective and that the vast majority of senior executives will be comfortable being interviewed over the Korn/Ferry Videonet," according to Ferry.

The firm maintains offices in 16 major U.S. cities with a total of 42 offices worldwide in key business centers throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia/Pacific and Australia.
