KOHL'S CORPORATION DECEMBER SALES REPORT

 MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kohl's Corporation (NYSE: KSS) reported today that sales for the month of December were up 20.6% over a year ago. On a comparable store basis, sales increased 9.7%. This comparable store sales increase was on top of a 15.1% store for store gain in December 1992.
 For the eleven months ended Jan. 1, 1994, sales were up 18.9% over the same period a year ago. On a comparable store basis, sales increased 8.2%.
