 KODAK RECEIVES PRODUCT EXCELLENCE AWARD
 FROM NATIONAL OFFICE MAGAZINE
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Eastman Kodak Company's (NYSE: EK) Office Imaging organization today received a "1992 Records & Information Management Product of the Year" award in the category of electronic/optical imaging from MODERN OFFICE TECHNOLOGY, a national business and information systems magazine with more than 160,000 subscribers.
For the second year in a row, a survey of records managers and readers of MODERN OFFICE TECHNOLOGY have chosen Kodak to receive a Product of the Year award for imaging excellence.
Kodak received the award this year for the Kodak Imagelink scanner 900, a high-productivity document image scanner designed for a range of office applications. The scanner 900 is a high-speed, high-resolution document scanner that scans up to 90 portrait-style documents per minute with a resolution of up to 400 dots per inch (dpi).
Last year Kodak was voted the winner in the Product of the Year category for micrographics systems excellence for its Imagelink document image management products.
Users of Kodak's multiple-media Imagelink products realize the savings and security of microfilm today, and the electronic capabilities to merge photographic imaging with digital image management systems of the future.
John B. Dykeman, associate publisher and editorial director for MODERN OFFICE TECHNOLOGY, presented Kodak the award at the 37th annual conference of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA), in Detroit.
