KODAK FILES PATENT INFRINGEMENT SUITOVER MAGNETIC RECORDING PATENT

 ROCHESTER. N.Y., March 31 /PRNewswire/-- Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE: EK) today announced it has filed a patent infringement suit against Sony Corporation and Sony Corporation of America regarding the use of a magnetic recording system patented by Kodak which utilizes a record head with a small effective magnetic gap length.
 Kodak's complaint notes that the company has attempted to negotiate a license agreement with Sony since the late 1980s.
