 KODAK CLINICAL PRODUCTS DIVISION
TOPS IN SERVICE FOR SEVENTH STRAIGHT YEAR
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Clinical Products Division of Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE: EK) has led an important industry survey on customer service for the seventh straight year. According to the Market Diagnostics Group of ServiceTrak, service support for Kodak Ektachem analyzers in 1991 again led the clinical diagnostics industry.
The survey conducted by this independent organization rated Kodak above average in overall service, response by telephone, telephone trouble-shooting effectiveness, speed of response for on-site service, and competence and attitude of field personnel.
"Our commitment to high quality in our products is backed up by our commitment to high quality in our service and support," said Ruth Unzicker, vice president and general manager, marketing, Clinical Products Division. "Receiving this award reflects our on-going commitment to both."
The annual mail survey involves approximately 8,800 hospitals and clinical laboratories known to conduct chemistry and other testing on site. The objectives of the survey are to determine the quality and timeliness of the service provided to support the various instruments in use. Objectives also include the degree of satisfaction with equipment installation and performance, the source of the service, and the type of service arrangements users choose for the long term.
The Kodak Clinical Products service organization provides a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week customer telephone hotline. Service personnel include laboratory specialists, customer service specialists, service engineers and locally based field engineers for on-site equipment service. Kodak Ektachem analyzers use a unique dry-chemistry technology for fast, accurate, reliable clinical chemistry testing.
