KODAK "TRAVELCASH" PROMOTION OFFERS

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting May 1, purchasers of qualifying Kodak films and cameras will earn points good toward a $200 savings voucher on such travel expenses as airfare and hotel accommodations.
Consumers purchasing a roll or disc of Kodak film will earn one point, Fun Saver 35 cameras two points, and a Kodak 35 mm camera eight points. Any consumer collecting eight points qualifies for a $200 savings voucher.
Participants mail their qualifying proofs of purchase to Kodak with a savings form available at dealers of Kodak products. Kodak will send the $200 savings certificate to consumers by return mail.
"This promotion enables two adult travelers to earn substantial savings on hotel and round-trip airfare when they travel for at least seven nights," said Robert LaPerle, general manager, consumer products and programs, Consumer Imaging. "It's a natural way for picture-taking vacationers to save money on their trip."
All vacation bookings in the "Travelcash" promotion must be made through U.S. Travel Systems on or before June 30, 1994. The offer can be redeemed only if the trip is made for two travelers. Bookings are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of each tour operator. All travel for which the non-transferable savings voucher applies must begin by Dec. 31, 1994. The "Travelcash" vouchers from Kodak cannot be used toward payment of deposits or cancellation fees.
"Vacationers can use Travelcash vouchers to further reduce the cost of already discounted travel packages, except charter packages," LaPerle said. "This offer is a terrific way for consumers to try out our newest films and cameras, and really stretch their leisure travel dollars in the process."
The promotion runs through August 31, 1993. Details will appear in monthly travel publications beginning in April.
