KODAK: PREPARE TO SAVE REUNION MEMORIES

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Whether it's the fifth or 50th, your class reunion can be the picture-taking event of a lifetime -- if you prepare in advance.
The sooner the better, say photo experts at Eastman Kodak Company, who pass along these tips:
Reacquaint yourself with your camera by shooting a roll of film in a local park. Have your film developed. If the prints are too dark, make certain your flash is working.
If your subjects look small and distant, plan to move a step or two closer. If your images are fuzzy, you may be too close to your subject. In that case, step back a few feet.
Buy film and extra camera batteries before you travel. (You may not be close to a source at your reunion site).
If your plans include both indoor and outdoor activities such as a football game followed by a dinner dance, select a 400-speed film. It offers versatility if a scene if a bit over- or underexposed.
And don't forget to put yourself in the picture. Your reunion won't be complete without photos of you and your pals. So hand your camera to someone who's also taking photos, and you'll have pictures of yourself with your friends. Then return the favor by taking a snapshot of your photographer with his or her camera.
