KNOX MILLAR PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES, EMI MUSIC INC.
NEW YORK, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- James G. Fifield, President and Chief Executive Officer of EMI Music, today announced the promotion of Knox Millar to Senior Vice President, Human Resources, effective Jan. 1, 1994. Millar will be located at EMI's New York headquarters and will be responsible for Human Resources for EMI Music worldwide. "I am very pleased with this appointment," said Fifield. "Knox has distinguished himself in his role as Director of Human Resources with EMI Records Group (U.K. and Eire) and is well positioned to assume the leadership of the function worldwide." Prior to joining EMI Records in 1991, Miller served in Human Resources positions with Pepsico, Inc., in American headquarters and field assignments in the Middle and Far East and in Latin America. Millar will be replacing Ed Piccolino, who is returning to management consulting, having joined EMI in 1990.
