KNOWLEDGEWARE ANNOUNCES SUPPORT FOR MICROSOFT(R) WINDOWS(TM) NT

 ATLANTA, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- In its continuing support of strategic operating systems, KnowledgeWare, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: KNOW) today announced its planned support for Microsoft's Windows NT operating system.
 KnowledgeWare is a market leader in providing a range of application development tools, training, methodologies and professional services for client/server, mid-range and mainframe environments.
 "As we continue expanding on our market leadership in client/server application development tools, we are actively evaluating and supporting operating systems that provide our customers with highly productive development environments," said Donald P. Addington, KnowledgeWare president and chief operating officer. "Windows NT promises to provide such an environment for our customers."
 At Windows World, KnowledgeWare will demonstrate Flashpoint running under the Windows NT operating system. Flashpoint is a Windows-based tool for quickly creating new graphical user interfaces for legacy applications, as well as integrating data from a variety of applications at the desktop.
 Other KnowledgeWare products slated for Windows NT include ObjectView, a powerful, visual development tool for creating Windows- based, client/server applications that access multiple, distributed databases; and the Application Development Workbench (ADW), a comprehensive, integrated CASE development solution for client/server application environments.
 KnowledgeWare products currently support both Windows and OS/2, and support for UNIX operating systems is planned for late 1993.
 KnowledgeWare is the market leader in providing application development solutions for client/server, mid-range and mainframe environments. KnowledgeWare's Application Development Workbench has become a de facto standard for business applications development, and is currently used by more than 4,200 companies and supported by more than 70 independent software vendor and consultant products. As of March 31, KnowledgeWare had shipped more than 108,000 products to 35 countries, and had revenue in excess of $115 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1992. Revenues for the nine months ending March 31 were more than $88 million.
