KNOWLEDGE ADVENTURE APPOINTS PATRICK S. McVEIGH AS VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

 Apple Computer's Director of U.S. Consumer Sales and
 Channel Development to Join Management Team
 LA CRESCENTA, Calif., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Knowledge Adventure Inc., the leading developer of multimedia educational software products, today announced the appointment of Patrick McVeigh as vice president of sales. At Apple Computer, McVeigh was responsible for management of U.S. sales of consumer products and channel development. Rick Gibson, formerly vice president of sales, will assume responsibility for international sales and new channel development.
 During his 10 years at Apple Computer, McVeigh held a variety of sales and channel development positions. Most recently, McVeigh developed the business plan for Apple's Macintosh Performa line of computers. McVeigh implemented channel programs that expanded distribution of these new computers to over 5,000 mass merchant outlets. Prior to joining Apple, McVeigh was vice president of sales and store operations with Drucker's, a consumer electronics chain based in New Jersey.
