KNOWLEDGE ADVENTURE ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING RIGHTS FOR SELECTED IMAX FILMS

 Company Forms Film Division to Produce Diskette
 and CD-ROM Adaptations of IMAX Films
 LA CRESCENTA, Calif., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Knowledge Adventure Inc., the leading developer of multimedia educational software products, today announced that it has acquired the exclusive worldwide electronic rights and licenses to the MacGillivray Freeman Films, "The Discoverers " and "Speed." The company also announced that it has created a Film Division that will be producing the diskette and CD-ROM multimedia, interactive adaptations of these
IMAX films. These adaptations will be introduced during the fourth calendar quarter of 1993.
 Based in Laguna Beach, Calif., MacGillivray Freeman Films is the largest independent producer of IMAX motion pictures. The company has received Best Photography and Best Documentary awards from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, and Gold Awards from international film festivals. Image Maximization or IMAX is the finest motion picture system that exists, producing images of unsurpassed size, clarity and impact, enhanced by a superb six-track sound system.
