KMART CORPORATION ELECTS NEW BOARD MEMBER TROY, Mich., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Kmart Chairman Joseph E.
Antonini today announced the election of Enrique C. Falla to Kmart Corporation's board of directors effective March 24, 1992.
Falla, 52, is executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW), Midland, Mich., and a member of the company's board of directors. A graduate of the University of Miami, Falla began his career with Dow in 1967 as a financial staff assistant for Dow Chemical Latin America. Falla became president of Dow Latin America in 1980. He was named financial vice president in 1984 and was appointed to the board of directors in 1985. He was elected executive vice president in 1991. "Enrique Falla brings a special expertise to our board," commented Antonini. "We are pleased that he will be joining us."
