 KMART AWARDS CONTRACT TO TECH-S, INC. FOR COMPUTERIZED TIME CLOCKS
 TROY, Mich., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) has awarded a contract to TECH-S, Incorporated, Livonia, Mich., for more than 2,400 of the TECH-S IDC2000 computerized time clocks. The time clocks are being used to optimize the labor tracking and scheduling functions. The IDC2000 was chosen because it is easy to use and requires little or no employee training.
 Kmart Corporation serves America with over 4,000 retail outlets in all 50 states in the United States and in Puerto Rico and Canada. Kmart, currently operating 2,377 Kmart stores, is also the parent company for PayLess Drug Stores, Builders Square, Waldenbooks, PACE Membership Warehouse, The Sports Authority, and OfficeMax.
 TECH-S, Incorporated is a manufacturer of microprocessor-based systems for data collection and factory process control. All TECH-S products are manufactured in Livonia and are sold around the world.
