KISS SO TEMPTING; bacon on films LAST KISS DRAMA Cert: 15 ****.

Byline: bacon

THE grass is always greener on the other side, they reckon - unless you live next door to Wembley Stadium, in which case the grass is a pile of rubble and cement.

But The Last Kiss is a film about the grass on the other side - about temptation, giving into temptation, and regretting temptation.

It stars the always-likeable Zach Braff (the one from Scrubs the girls and some boys fancy).

He's a guy in his late 20s with a successful job, a solid group of friends and the perfect girlfriend. So why would he throw it away? Enter the O.C.'s Rachel Bilson as sexy temptress Kim, who seduces Braff.

The realness of the characters makes the story believable, and it moves at a decent pace. There's no slapstick comedy here, it's more of an internal chuckle at the situation thanks to a terrific screenplay by Paul Haggis, who won the Best Film Oscar for Crash.

There are maybe too many stories going on but with a soundtrack that includes Snow Patrol, you should give in to temptation and buy a ticket.
