KISS OF LIFE IN FIRE DRAMA.

A WOMAN had to be given the kiss of life after a flat fire in Liverpool.

A fire broke out in a first floor flat kitchen in Rufford Road, Kensington, at about 3.15pm yesterday.

Firefighters from Low Hill station and the city centre were called and found the property well alight.

The occupier, a single woman in her 30s, had to be resuscitated by a firefighter before paramedics took her to hospital.

The kitchen was totally gutted and the rest of the property was severely damaged by smoke.
