KING WORLD PRODUCTIONS TO SPONSOR TV ACADEMY'S 1992 FACULTY SEMINAR
 NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) announced today that King World Productions Inc. has become the sole sponsor of the academy's Faculty Seminar which takes place annually in Los Angeles. It is attended by 18 selected college professors and teachers of film, television and communication nationwide. The seminars include on-sight industry indoctrinations, visits, panels and workshops.
 Objective of ATAS' Faculty Seminars is to strengthen educators' abilities to communicate with students by exposing them to the latest television development, production, technology, programming and employment opportunities. The seminars are organized and supervised for the academy by Price Hicks, director of educational services and programs.
 Said ATAS President Leo Chaloukian:

When activities such as this are supported by benevolent companies like King World, the academy is in a position to design and accomplish even more worthwhile programs for the young people who will run our industry in the future."

 ATAS' next four-day Faculty Seminar, with 18 out-of-city professors participating, will take place in November. Participants pay their own housing and travel expenses to Los Angeles with the academy responsible for organizing a full daily agenda of talks, tours, visits, screenings and discussions.
