KIIS-VISION SPECTACULAR TO PREMIERE AT 'KIIS AND UNITE' AN ALL-STAR CONCERT REVUE TO BENEFIT THE PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION

 LOS ANGELES, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- At 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, KIIS-FM will "come alive" on stage as KIIS-FM premieres "KIIS-VISION," a breakthrough state-of-the-art, interactive, multi-media presentation which combines a visual image with music and audience participation for a complete musical experience. A new concept in radio, "KIIS-VISION" will give the "KIIS & UNITE" concert audience an opportunity to experience first-hand what goes on behind the scenes at their favorite radio station. KIIS-FM will "come alive" as the concert audience watches Rick Dees and other KIIS-FM air personalities on a 10-1/2 x 14-1/2-foot video screen working at the audio board, playing their favorite hits, interviewing celebrities, taking requests from listeners and awarding prizes.

 WHAT: "KIIS-Vision," a state-of-the-art, interactive, multi-media musical experience, to premiere during the second annual "KIIS & UNITE" all-star concert revue to benefite? Pediatric AIDS Foundation, sponsored by 102.7 KIIS-FM and SEGA. Superstars of the 90s scheduled to perform are John Secada (in his first Southern California concert appearance), Patty Smyth, P.M. Dawn, Boy Krazy, Joey Lawrence, Shai, Portrait, Neneh Cherry, Jeremy Jordan and Toad the Wet Sprocket. An event for all ages, from 3-7 p.m. there will be mimes, clowns, jugglers from the LA Circus, and carnival rides.
 Proceeds from "KIIS & UNITE," a concert and silent auction of celebrity and rock memorabilia, will benefit the Pediatric AIDS Foundation (PAF), a charity dedicated to preventing the spread of AIDS form mothers to their unborn children. Rick Dees will present a donation check to PAF co-founder, Elizabeth Glaser, at 8 p.m.

 WHERE: Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre -- 3-10 p.m.
 WHY: To further the efforts of The Pediatric AIDS Foundation, a non-profit organization confronting problems unique to children with HIV-AIDS. It is estimated that by the year 2000, there will be 10 million children infected with HIV worldwide.
