KEY TRONIC INTRODUCES NOTEBOOK KEYBOARD --
 A BREAKTHROUGH IN PACKAGE SIZE
SPOKANE, Wash., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- With the increasing demand for high-performance notebook computers in smaller packages, OEMs are looking for innovative designs that can meet both their specifications and their production and scheduling needs, Key Tronic (NASDAQ-NMS: KTCC) said today. "The introduction of our new MiniPro(TM) keyboard represents a breakthrough in notebook keyboard design. It offers a 3 mm key stroke in a 9 mm overall package height," according to the company's vice president of sales and marketing, Warren Rainer.
"Key Tronic has been serving the OEM market for more than 20 years. The MiniPro notebook keyboard is another step in providing our OEM customers the kinds of products and customer service they need to be successful in the marketplace," said Rainer.
The MiniPro notebook keyboard is ideal for use with standard or custom designs, and features standard "A" or "Sub-A" layouts. The MiniPro keyboard offers high-quality membrane switch technology with a 10 million stroke per keyswitch lifecycle, tactile keystroke, embedded numeric pad, separate inverted "T" cursor keys and durable, printed keycaps. It can be manufactured in a variety of international language versions.
The MiniPro keyboard is backed by a full one-year warranty and is built with Key Tronic(R) quality in the U.S.A. The MiniPro keyboard will be available for shipping beginning in February of 1993.
