KERR-McGEE APPROVES '94 CAPITAL BUDGET

 OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Kerr-McGee Corp. (NYSE: KMG) has budgeted 1994 capital expenditures of $430 million, approximately the same as the 1993 capital investment.
 Included in the 1994 budget are $310 million for exploration and production, of which about $60 million is for the company's 1994 share of development costs in the South China Sea's Liuhua Field; $50 million for chemical operations; $30 million for coal operations; and $30 million for refining and marketing.
 "We are extremely proud of having increased oil and natural gas production in each of the past seven years, and of having increased our oil-equivalent reserves in each of the past six years," said Frank A. McPherson, Kerr-McGee's chairman and chief executive officer. "We remain confident in the future of the oil and natural gas business."
