KERR-MCGEE CALLS TO REDEEM 7 1/4 PERCENT SUBORDINATED DEBENTURES

 OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Kerr-McGee Corp. (NYSE: KMG) has called for the redemption of its $150 million 7 1/4 percent convertible subordinated debentures due 2012. The redemption date has been fixed at Oct. 15, 1993. The redemption price is 102.9 percent of the principal plus accrued interest from June 15, 1993, to the redemption date of Oct. 15, 1993. The conversion price is $45.30.
 Kerr-McGee is an energy and chemical company with approximately $3.4 billion in annual sales from domestic and international operations.
