KENDALL INTERNATIONAL, INC. STOCK BEGINS TRADING ON NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE

 MANSFIELD, Mass., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kendall International, Inc. today began trading its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") under the symbol "KEN". The company's 8.25% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2003 have also been listed on the NYSE bond market in conjunction with the new stock listing. Kendall's common stock formerly traded on the Nasdaq National Market System under the symbol "KEND".
 Kendall International, Inc., with annual sales in excess of $800 million, manufactures, markets and distributes disposable medical supplies and devices for the hospital, alternate site health care and home health care markets, as well as adhesive products and tapes for industrial and consumer markets, and employs approximately 8,800 people worldwide.
