KBR wins engineering project management contract from SAMSB.

Engineering, construction and services company KBR (NYSE:KBR) announced on Thursday that its Australia based project team has won its 11th consecutive engineering project management contract for the annual Clipsal 500 event in Adelaide, South Australia from the South Australian Motor Sport Board (SAMSB).

Additionally, the company said that the three year contract includes the 2011 race as Engineering Project manager for the four-day racing event.

KBR's services will erect and dismantle the temporary race infrastructure, maintain track and associated infrastructure like pits and grandstands, catering facilities, and a medical centre besides liaising with many stakeholders including SAMSB, Adelaide City Council, the Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (DTEI) and SA Water.

Financial details were not discussed.
