 FREEWAY INTERCHANGE TOTALING $51,444,444
 SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ --- Kasler Corp. (NYSE: KAS), a leader in the highway/heavy construction industry, today announced that the company was the apparent low bidder on a contract in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties for the California State Department of Transportation totaling $51,444,444.
 The project calls for the construction of a major new interchange on Route 60, the Pomona Freeway, and the 71 Freeway in San Bernardino County. The work will stretch 1.8 miles on the Pomona Freeway from Phillips Ranch Road to Reservoir Street and 1.8 miles on the 71 Freeway from Old Pomona Road to Riverside Drive. The work consists of excavating 2.2 million yards of dirt, constructing 16 bridges, building connector roads, on and off ramps and concrete and asphalt paving. The estimated duration of the contract will be 36 months.
 J.L. Feller, chairman and chief executive officer, commenting on today's bid said, "Today's successful bid continues Kasler's tradition of playing a significant role in revitalizing the state's infrastructure."
 Kasler Corp. is a general contractor engaged in the construction of highways, bridges and other public works projects, including airfields, rapid transit and water distribution facilities.
