 KARINE JORET NAMED DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
 AND PUBLIC RELATIONS FOR WARNER BROS. RETAIL OPERATIONS
 BURBANK, Calif., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Karine Joret has been appointed director of marketing and public relations for Warner Bros. Retail Operations, it was announced jointly today by Dan Romanelli, president, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Peter Starrett, senior vice president, director of retail.
 In her new position, Joret will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of all marketing and public relations programs for the expanding Warner Bros. Studio Stores and retail operations.
 In September 1991, Warner Bros. opened four Warner Bros. Studio Stores in locations around the country. The stores bucked the national retail trend, posting immediate profits, which exceeded company projections and set the stage for expansion plans for 15 additional stores for 1992.
 Joret most recently served as director, worldwide public relations and international marketing of Warner Bros. Consumer Products since December of 1990. She joined Warner Bros. in 1988 as marketing administrator for LCA Entertainment. In 1989, Joret was named manager of public relations and international marketing and in December of 1990 was promoted to director of worldwide public relations and international marketing.
 Prior to joining Warner Bros., Joret was a project coordinator and unit publicist in feature films.
