 KARINE ARMSTRONG JOINS ROYAL CARIBBEAN AS V.P. MARKETING
 MIAMI, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. announced today the appointment of Karine L. Armstrong as vice president marketing. Armstrong will have responsibility for Royal Caribbean's marketing planning and communications activities including advertising, sales promotion, revenue planning and product pricing.
 Well-known for her achievements as a marketing executive in the cruise industry during her tenure as vice president of marketing at Carnival Cruise Lines, she moved from "floating hotels" to land-based properties in 1990 as vice president resort marketing for Hyatt Corporation's 18 resorts worldwide. She recently returned to the cruise industry, joining Premier Cruise Lines as senior vice president sales and marketing.
 Armstrong will report to Rod McLeod, executive vice president sales, marketing and passenger services. In announcing her appointment, McLeod said: "Without question, Karine Armstrong is one of the most visible and highly regarded marketing professionals in the North American travel industry and I
