KAMAN SUBSIDIARY RECEIVES $20 MILLION CONTRACT FOR RAYTHEON MISSILES
 BLOOMFIELD, Conn., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaman Corp.'s (NASDAQ: KAMNA) subsidiary, Raymond Engineering Inc., has received several contracts from Raytheon Company, Lexington, Mass., to supply a variety of weapon safety and memory devices to Raytheon, it was announced today. The value of these contracts is expected to exceed $20 million over three years.
 Included in these contracts are safety, arming and fuzing devices for the U.S. Air Force Maverick and AMRAAM missiles, and memory systems for the U.S. Army Patriot Missiles. Maverick is an air-to-ground attack missile, extensively used in the Desert Storm conflict. AMRAAM is an advanced air-to-air missile in early, low-rate production. Patriot is a surface-to-air defense weapon used during Desert Storm to defend against Iraqi Scud missile attacks. Raymond will supply computer mass memory systems which store and load computer programs used to control the Patriot for intercept. The company also received a contract for continuing production of safety and arming devices for the Phoenix missile.
 Raymond Engineering designs, develops and manufactures digital memory systems, weapons safety devices, and torquing products. The company employs 450 people at it Middletown, Conn., headquarters.
