 KAGAWA NAMED PRESIDENT AND CEO OF
 HILL AND KNOWLTON ASIA-PACIFIC REGION
 NEW YORK, May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Clifton Kagawa was named today as president and chief executive officer of Hill and Knowlton's Asia Pacific region.
 In making the appointment, Thomas E. Eidson, president and chief executive officer of Hill and Knowlton, Inc. said: "Clif will be taking over a region that has significant growth potential for our company. Our goal is to serve our clients throughout the world with quality service. Clif Kagawa has been working in the Asia-Pacific region for over 20 years and will be working closely with the managers of our offices to strengthen and expand the services of our firm."
 Kagawa, 42, also becomes a member of the Hill and Knowlton, Inc. executive committee and board of directors. He will be based in Honolulu and oversee a region of 16 offices in nine countries. He succeeds John Connolly of Australia who resigned last week.
 Kagawa has been executive vice president of the region as well as chairman and chief executive of Hill and Knowlton/Communications- Pacific, the firm's Hawaii operation. Richard N. Zwern, 37, previously president of the Hawaii operation, will succeed Kagawa as chairman and CEO.
 Hill and Knowlton, based in New York, is a leading international public relations and public affairs counseling firm with 65 offices in 25 countries. Its parent company, WPP Group plc, is one of the leading advertising and marketing services groups in the world.
