K-TRON ANNOUNCES PRELIMINARY 1991 RESULTS PITMAN, N.J., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- K-Tron International, Inc.
(NASDAQ: KTII) announced today that it expects to report 1991 fourth quarter net earnings of between $.47 and $.54 per share, which would be substantially ahead of the $.28 per share for the fourth quarter of 1990.
For the year, the company said that net earnings per share would likely be equal to or slightly better than the $1.21 per share reported last year, with revenues exceeding $80 million. Included in the 1991 fourth quarter results is approximately $.15 per share which was recorded in connection with the company's sale to Iconics Inc. of its 11 percent equity interest in Iconics. The company said that the final results for the fourth quarter and the year will not be available until late February.
