Just taking my new Ferrari out for a spin..

Byline: MARK ELLIS

A BUSINESSMAN took his new pounds 120,000 Ferrari F360 for a spin - and wrote it off two minutes later after leaving an incredible trail of havoc.

The 28-year-old CRASHED into three parked cars and two bikes, MOUNTED the pavement, DEMOLISHED a street lamp, traffic lights, a billboard and two trees before CUTTING power to nearby houses.

The unnamed 28-year-old emerged unscathed from the crash in Dusseldorf, Germany, and blamed the 190mph car, saying: "There was a problem with the gears."

Passerby Matthias Richter said: "The place looked like a bomb had gone off. There was debris everywhere."

The driver is being investigated for speeding and dangerous driving. Police estimate damage at a further pounds 120,000.
