Just keep those eggs rolling in!

CHOCOLATE eggs have been flooding into Evening Telegraph offices as generous readers help to give needy children an extra special treat this Easter.

In the last two years, our Eggs4Kids appeal has collected donations of more than 1,000 eggs each Easter, from individuals, firms and organisations.

Thanks to you, every child in hospital or social services care in and around the city had a chocolate egg to tuck into.

And we want to do it all again this year - but this time we want to make it even bigger and better and receive even more eggs.

Debbie Lacey, at the Evening Telegraph, said she was impressed with the number of eggs donated by readers so far, but urged people to bring in more.

We will store the eggs and deliver them to children's wards and social services bases around Good Friday - March 25 - so that every child will have one for Easter Sunday.

Children at Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital, Walsgrave Hospital, Nuneaton's George Eliot Hospital and Warwick Hospital are among those who will be receiving eggs this year.

So please take a chocolate egg along to our offices in Corporation Street, Coventry, or New Century Way, Nuneaton.
