Between 1920 and 1942, the army numbers allotted to the Royal Engineers ranged from 1842001 to 2303000. It should be easy to access your late husband's military record through the Ministry of Defence. This will not only confirm his army number but give you details such as dates of service and good conduct medals.

The reindeer's digestive system removes the poison, leaving the urine with the hallucinogenic element.

It is said that while under the effects of the drink, the Sami thought their reindeer were flying through space, looking down on the world.
