Jungo launches USB mobile connectivity stack.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-February 21, 2012-Jungo launches USB mobile connectivity stack(C)1994-2012 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

Provider of embedded, software connectivity solutions Jungo Ltd on Tuesday announced the immediate availability of support for the new Mobile Broadband Interface Model (MBIM) specification.

The MBIM V1.0 specification is a USB-based protocol for host and device connectivity for desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices which support multiple generations of GSM- and CDMA-based 3G and 4G packet data services, including LTE technology.

Based on USBware, the company's established embedded USB device stack, and DriverCore, USB CDC solution of production-grade desktop driver stacks. The implementation includes support for both legacy and next-generation desktop operating systems including integration with Windows 7 and Windows 8 WWAN implementation of NDIS 6.2 and NDIS 6.30 the Jungo MBIM solution includes support for both legacy and next-generation desktop operating systems.
