* Approval was granted for application A10/13/AE from Northville Pharmacy on behalf of 990555 Ontario Inc., owner of property at 300 Grand River St. N. Pursuant to Section 45(2)(a)(ii) of the Planning Act, the applicants asked for a minor variance to permit the extension of a legal non-conforming use. The existing pharmacy sought to expand from 111.5 square metres to 167.2 square metres in a Highway Commercial (C2-6) zone.

* Approval was granted for application A11/13/AE from John and Sharon De Jong, owners of lands at 179 Hwy. 53. The applicants sought relief from Section 3(1)(c) of the Zoning By-law to allow an accessory structure with a height of 6.6 metres whereas 4.5 metres was permitted.

* Approval was granted for application A12/13/AE from J.H Cohoon Engineering Limited on behalf of Braden and Ashley Cronmiller, owners of lands at 570 Mount Pleasant Rd., Brantford township. The applicants sought relief from Section 5(3)(i)(ii) of the Zoning By-law to permit an extension of a legal non-confirming use for an interior side yard setback of 2.40 metres whereas 4.0 metres was required. The existing dwelling had an interior side yard setback of 2.4 metres.

* Approval was granted for application A14/13/AE from Harry and Faith Boer, owners of lands at 61 McBay Rd., Brantford township. The applicants sought relief from Section 3(1)(c) of the Zoning By-law to permit an accessory structure with a height of 6.6 metres whereas 4.5 metres was permitted.

* Approval was granted for application A15/12/AE from Randy Rive, owner of lands on east side of Kitson Road, Brantford township. The applicant requested relief from Section 10(3)(c) of the Zoning By-law to allow for a front yard setback of 5 metres whereas 7 metres was permitted. The applicant had previously been approved for a minor variance to permit a seven-metre front yard setback.

* Approval was granted for application A9/12/MD from J.H Cohoon Engineering Limited on behalf of Stubbe's Precast Commercial Inc., owner of lands at 20-30 Muir Rd. S., Burford township. The applicant requested relief from Section 5(4)(pppp) of the Zoning By-law to permit an interior setback from the northerly lot line to 16 meters whereas 28 metres was permitted.

* Approval was granted for application B18-20/10/MD from Waterous, Holden, Amey, Hitchon, agents for Daniel Harasym, for lands at 32 McBay Rd., Brantford township, where the applicant proposed severing three residential lots with frontages along McBay Road. The retained lands containing an existing residence will have a frontage of 40 metres and an area of.85 hectares. Two of the severed lots will each be.84 hectares and the third lot will be 1.72 hectares.

* Application B21/13/AE from Terry and Gloria Shaw, owners of lands at 52 Maple Grove Rd., Oakland township, was tabled. The applicants wanted to dispose of a surplus farm dwelling. The severed lands will have a frontage of 140 metres with an area of 1.4 hectares. The retained lands will have an area of about 98 hectares.

* Approval was granted for application B22/13/RA from J.H Cohoon Engineering Limited on behalf of Allen and Elizabeth Sroka, owners of lands 5 St. Andrews Court, Brantford township. The applicants sought to create a new residential lot. The severed lot will have a frontage of about 41 meters with an area of .9 hectares. The retained lot would have a frontage of 63 metres and an area of about 4.8 hectares.

* Approval was granted for application B23/13/MD from Snodgrass Consulting on behalf of Jane Gowing and Karen Faguy, owners of lands at 471 Scenic Dr., South Dumfries township. The applicants proposed creating a new residential lot. The severed lot will have a frontage of 40 metres and area of.6 hectares. The retained lot will have a frontage of 42 metres and area of.65 hectares.

* Approval was granted for application B24/13/RA Snodgrass Consulting for Frank Kertesz on behalf of Anne Kertesz, owner of lands at 299 Bishopsgate Rd., Burford township. The applicant proposed severing off a surplus farm dwelling. The severed lot will have a frontage of about 96 metres with an area of 1.35 hectares. The retained lot will have an area of about 63 hectares.

* Approval was granted for application B26/13/RA from Snodgrass Consulting on behalf of Marion McGeein, Howard and William Snodgrass, owners of lands at 210 Bishopsgate Rd., Oakland township. The applicants sought to sever a surplus farm dwelling. The severed lot will have a frontage on Bishopsgate Road with an area of 35.8 hectares. The retained lot will have a frontage of 65 metres and are of.6 hectares.
