Juliet Wllson's Column: SILLY HUGGERS.

Byline: Juliet Wllson

RESEARCH by the Mental Health Foundation has revealed hugs are the best way to combat the blues.

In that case, the people I saw in the pub on Sunday night should be the happiest alive.

So frequent was the hugging, back-stroking and kissing, I thought they were about to have an orgy - and that was just the guys.

But I'm forced to admit women are just as bad.

Even my work colleagues hug and kiss so much it could almost be defined as love-making.

No wonder people don't bother getting married - you get enough action on one night out.
