Juliet Lawrence Wilson's column: GIVE UP THE MONEY GIRL.
CONGRATULATIONS to Callie Rogers, the 16-year-old girl who won the best part of two million spondulicks last Saturday.
Callie declared at a press conference that the money wouldn't change her and has sweetly decided to treat her family to a holiday and her foster mum to a new high-tech wheelchair.
She goes on to say that her boyfriend is "very happy for her". Well, you don't say!
Young Callie will have many crosses to bear in the future. Will she be sure that her boyfriend loves her or her bank balance?
If she throws her money around, her friends will think her a show off, if she doesn't, they may judge her to be mean.
So Callie, as I am here to help, simply pop your winnings in an envelope and send it to Juliet Lawrence Wilson, Lawrence Wilson Manor, Pound Square, Edinburgh.
