Julien J. Studley, president of Julien J. Studley, Inc., announced the promotion of Brenda Sexton (photo), to the position of senior managing director. In addition, Sexton was honored as the firm's 1991 top producer nationwide. Sexton is based in the company's Chicago office.

Sexton joined Studley in 1987, and since then has negotiated over $400 million worth of transactions for major corporate users in the Chicago metropolitan area. 1991 was an extremely successful year for Sexton, as in the midst of one of the worst real estate markets ever, she consummated over 600,000 square feet of office build-to-suits and lease transactions, with a combined value of over $100 million. Her 1991 clients included Cincinnati Bell Information Systems, Hartford Fire

Ducharme, a 20-year veteran of Chicago's commercial real estate market, always has been a top producer within Studley, and 1991 was no exception. During this past year, he participated in 32 separate transactions involving approximately 750,000 square feet in the Chicago metropolitan area. Ducharme's clients include American Hospital Association; Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue; SEI Corp.; AMA Services; the S.E.C.; and Editel, among others.

While Ducharme has worked with these and other high-profile clients, he has been especially committed to the management of Studley's Chicago office. In fact, the Chicago office ranked first in Studleys national network during 1991, completing transactions involving approximately 2 million square feet with a value or nearly $9 million.

Ducharme is involved in various professional associations and civic organizations. He is past-president of the Chicago office Leasing Broker's Association, an associate member of the Urban Land Institute, associate member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and a member of the Union League Club.
